i stretch time when i quiet my mind the mind at rest, even in action ease is an abundance practice as time is abundant i keep my day light and deliberate. each day begins in stillness. in breath, movement and deep listening. i am grounded for the day. even if my mind begins to bounce around, i can easily stop and find my breath...move and open my joints...releasing any tension in the body and slowing the mind. if my body is at ease, so is my mind. if my thoughts race, i race. it is the mind that expedites the day...bouncing from one thought to the next...one moment to the next...not finding grounding and complete focus in the present. so i choose to find deep breaths and let my mind unwind. unraveling the perpetual illusion of not doing enough, being behind, or an acute case of the 'shoulds'; my mind is not running to all the things it 'should' be doing.
